Big is the home to many years of watersports competitions. It has a pleasant grassy rigging area and the parking area overlooks the bay, so its great for the family. A shop, showers and ablution facilities are all available. In summer Big Bay has side-shore to side-onshore winds, beach break wave conditions. Excellent for jumping, average for wave riding. Big Bay is a reliable beach for a pretty good session and can be unbelievable a few times a year.
